Special Touches


I try to personalize my books by putting something in my books to the person who I am making it for. Here is a picture I drew for someone special and also added a "zentangle" which I saw at a local store. It's sort of a like a doddle, but it is really cool and fun to do.

Busy Break from School






After a crazy busy semester in my fabulous graduate program at the Corcoran School of Art & Design in Washington, DC., I spent my semester break by making books. I spent days and days just reading about bindings and decided to experiment. The finished products became presents for my family. I still have 17 more days to mess around before I get back to commuting to DC and crazy hours up all night doing homework.
Yes, there are lots of things I might not have done right and fudged along the way because it's not easy to try to get people to give you advice, especially during the holidays, so I just did it my way.
I hope you enjoy my work.
